Pieter van Onzenoort has been a civil law notary for over 26 years and has been working in the notarial private client practice for over 35 years (most recently at Loyens & Loeff). Since 1 Januari 2024 he is an independent advisor to a concise group of families. His focus is on estate planning, nationally as well as internationally, and governance and transfers of family businesses and other family property. Pieter has been a member of the Dutch State Commission for International Private Law. Pieter is the author of various publications in the field of estate and succession planning, one of which is the first book on estate planning in the Netherlands in 1994.
